What To Expect: Your First Dentist Appointment

For your first appointment, we recommend bringing the following materials:

Having all of this documentation on hand will make your check-in process a lot simpler and quicker. However, do not worry if you are missing something. Our friendly front-desk staff will ensure that we have all of the necessary information from you before your appointment begins. After you check in, you can relax in our comfortable waiting room until called back to the exam room.

During your dental exam, one of our team members will thoroughly evaluate your smile and clean your teeth. We will evaluate your gums for gum disease progression and remove any buildup that could irritate your gum line. Once complete, one of our experienced doctors will be called to consult you.

This is the perfect time to voice any dental concerns that you have or ask for more information on elective cosmetic procedures. If any dental concerns are noted during your appointment, our doctors will provide you with the treatment plan you need to restore your smile.

At any point during your appointment, please feel free to ask us questions. We value patient education and will take the time to explain our processes and procedures to you. Our goal is for you to leave our office feeling confident with your smile and informed on the current state of your dental health.
