Digital X-rays

Our dental office utilizes digital X-rays, which have several advantages over traditional film-based X-rays. Digital X-rays allow us to take X-rays without exposing you to as much radiation as traditional X-rays. They also allow us to obtain digital images of your dental structures immediately. These detailed images allow us to discuss your dental health and treatment options quickly and accurately.

3D Scans

If you have ever had traditional dental impressions taken of your teeth, you know how uncomfortable this experience can be. Many of our dental services and procedures require impressions of your teeth for the making of dental prosthetics and diagnostics. It’s important that these impressions accurately depict the current positions of your dental structures.

Instead of opting for traditional dental impressions, which utilize a thick putty material that must remain on your smile for a few minutes in order to harden, we utilize digital impressions as an alternative. This means that instead of the putty, we will use a handheld scanning camera to capture digital impressions that are then sent to our local lab. No more putty!

Cone Beam CT Scan

Dental Cone Beam CT. Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a unique type of X-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial X-rays are insufficient. Our dentists use this technology to produce three-dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways, and bone in a single scan.
